Next Senate Leader Proudly Announces SBCTC Re-election Endorsement
February 5, 2014 - State Senator Kevin de Leon, whom fellow Senators have agreed will become the next President pro tem of the Senate later this year, recently issued a press release to announce his endorsement for re-election by the California Building Trades. LOS ANGELES, CA— On the heels of his formal re-election announcement, today State Senator Kevin de León picked up a highly coveted endorsement from the State Building & Construction Trades Council of California, in his re-election bid.
"Senator Kevin de León has always understood the issues of working families,” said Robbie Hunter, President State Building and Construction Trades Council. “He has been a seasoned, distinguished and accomplished legislator for Los Angeles County and he will bring valuable experience and energetic leadership to the California State Senate. The Building Trades and working families are proud to support Senator de León for his re-election."
