State Allocation Board Disburses $519.9 Million for School Construction

May 23, 2013 - The State Allocation Board announced this week that it has disbursed $519.9 million for 230 new school construction and modernization projects across 92 school districts, county offices of education, and charter schools statewide. This state funding will complement local construction funding as well.

SBCTC Legislative and Political Director Cesar Diaz stated that this means that hundreds of school construction projects will be underway in the near future. You should be watching for school construction and modernization projects coming to your areas.
