Support High Speed Rail Plan At HSR Authority 4/12/2012 Meeting
April 5, 2012 - The California High Speed Rail Authority is scheduled to consider approving its revised 2012 Business Plan at its upcoming meeting, Thursday, April 12, at 10 a.m. in San Francisco.
Opponents will show up to urge scrapping or delaying the plan. Supporters need to counter them with the clear message that California needs to get to work building high speed rail now. Public comments should stress that California’s transportation system must be improved, that the status quo is unacceptable, that we need the economic and environmental benefits of high speed rail, and we need the thousands of jobs it will bring now. Doing nothing is not an option.
Thursday, April 12, 2012, 10 a.m.
Milton Marks Conference Center, Auditorium
455 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco CA
