Governor Davis Appoints Union Members!
Governor Gray Davis appointed two more union leaders to key state agencies, adding to the 120 appointees already in important positions through the Governor's appointments.
Michael W. Longeuay, of Solano, was appointed to the California Apprenticeship Council. Mr. Longeuay has been the administrator of Sheet Metal Workers' Local 104 and Bay Area Industry Training Fund since 1995.
Curtis L. Washington, of Brisbane, was appointed to the State Board of Education. Mr. Washington is a member of the California Teachers Association.
