Governor Davis Appoints
Union Member!
Governor Gray Davis announced the appointment of Xema Jacobson as a member of the Executive Committee of the San Diego Regional Airport Governing Board. Ms. Jacobson, of Spring Valley, is the Business Manager of the San Diego Building and Construction Trades Council. She served as the Public Works Enforcement Representative for the IBEW Local 569 from 1994 to 2000.
The San Diego Regional Airport Authority Governing Board is responsible for developing all aspects of airport facilities that it operates. This position requires Senate confirmation.
